I Think I Was Absent on the Day This Was Discussed in Parenting Class

I never would have expected that I would catch my three year old drizzling oregano on the 7 month old and have to SERIOUSLY EXPLAIN why we COULD NOT put his baby brother in a pot and cook him....

Ah. See? HE thinks mushrooms are like biting into human skin, too.

This speaks highly of your cooking skills: pots, spices! If I had kids, they'd be looking to stick each other in the microwave. LOL

I'm sure your parenting skills are pretty great, too!

Kuj-- I thought the EXACT SAME THING! My three year old must be hanging out with your girlfriend-in-law.

Jepcke- The reports of my cooking skills have been GREATLY exaggerated. My mother has wishfully supplied me with Williams Sonoma paraphernalia. Sadly, her desperate attempts at making me a world-class chef have not worked. They all become pretty accessories with which to decorate my kitchen as we call out for pizza.... How the three year old even knew to sprinkle spices on food/brother is anyone's guess. Methinks grandma has been allowing him to watch the Food Network at her house in yet ANOTHER attempt to get me to cook. Poor woman....

Too bad it's not closer to Thanksgiving...then you could be like "uh, no, we can't cook him, BUT we CAN TAKE PICTURES!" and then put the wee tyke on a large plate with vegetables all around him...
